But I think they would still work for the purée given the added sugar, and for the fruit between the layers you could use peaches and raspberries. I think that would be wonderful! One night there was a book reading, an unexpected invitation, several gin and tonics, an extraordinary strawberry trifle, and it all ending with me getting locked in a bathroom.
